What is Home Staging?
The term “staging” is being heard more and more in
conversation these days, partly due to the increased
popularity of home decorating shows on television. The
reality is that staging has been around for decades, with
most buyers never knowing that they have fallen victim to
it.
Home staging is preparing the home for sale by
de-cluttering, de-personalizing, re-arranging furniture, and
modernizing the space in order to create an open, yet warm
and inviting home that buyers are looking for. Buyers want
clean, bright, updated homes and they will pay top dollar to
get them. When buyers walk into a home, they make a decision
within in the first 3 seconds whether home feels right for
them, and they will carry that first impression with them
throughout the home. By staging your home, you make that
immediate connection with the buyer, sometimes before they
even step through the door, thus increasing the chance of a
sale.
We will work together to detract from any problem areas in
the home by accentuating the positive features. I will add
lighting and beautiful accessories from my inventory, if
needed, to create the finished, “model home” look. The end
result will be a gorgeous staged home, that outshines the
rest!
